tdiu Lets Throw This One Out For You
I was a federal employee already at 30% when hired. Eight years later my employer reorganized my position which aggravated one of my service connected issues resulting in my personal physician putting restrictions on me that per did not interfere with my official position description but my supervisor stated that it prevented me from doing my job and used that to terminate my employment. My official termination states that my my restrictions prevented me from doing my job. My personal physician documents that I'm fully capable of performing all the duties of my official position description. I immediately filed for TDIU since I have restrictions because of my se…

ptsd 70% Ptsd Awarded Today...filed Iu At Sametime...was I Denied
I just found out that I was awarded 70% for PTSD, but if I was awarded IU wouldn't it show 100%...I did notice that my claim status says notification letter sent, but it also says gathering evidence. Does that mean now they are looking at my IU request? I'm really confused... Thanks

tdiu Will Va Wait For Ssa Disability
Just a quick question...typically does the VA wait to see if a veteran gets Social Security Disability before making the decision for TDIU? I submitted my TDIU claim today and have an appointment next week to file the disability claim. If it matters I'm 65 and claiming unemployability for Coronary Heart Disease that's presently rated 60% (SC). Thanks in advance!

Help With Dilemma
Ok everyone here is my dilemma. As some of you have read in the Vocational rehabilitation forum I am slated to start school on April 7th and I have turned in notice to quit work on March 20th. I cannot take back my notice so I am going to be unemployed whether I want to or not. I was scolded by my VA rep for letting the schools VA counselor get the requested information. Unknown to me the VA vocational rehab councilor wanted me to do all of this without help. This caused me to stress out so much and made me so angry that I wanted to drop the training and forget about it. I have been told by many people that I should put in for TDUI. I am 50% for depression and 40% for …

tdiu Eligible For Tdiu?
My husband's disability was recently awarded at 90%. Thank God for this because just before the award, he had to stop working due to his disability. He had been working only 16 hrs per week due to edema and fatigue caused by his kidney disease but even that became too much. His legs were so swollen by the end of a few hours that he could barely walk. He is over 65 and has been collecting regular social security for a couple years. He took is early because of the health issue and stayed working the limited hours. I'm wondering if he would be eligible for TDIU now. On the C&P, the examiner said he is limited in his ability to work due to the edema. Would he need…

ptsd Should I Re-File My Ptsd Claim After Filing Iu?
I filed my PTSD claim back on November 12th of 2014 but it never made it to e-Bennies. I went down to the VARO (a short drive) and they told me it can take up to 4 months. I filed for IU Friday and that claim is already in the system (e-Benefits). So, my question is...should I have DAV re-submit the PTSD claim (I'm sure its lost in the system) or will that delay the IU claim? I'm currently 60% for Coronary Heart Disease (boots on the ground in VN/Agent Orange presumptive). Going to the Vet Center for PTSD help.

tdiu Effective Date Of My Claim
I filed my claim 0n 09/23/2014. I had my C&P exam on 01/12/2015. I was awarded TDIU 80% SC payable at 100% with an effictive date of Jan 1 2015. When I filed my claim it was a reopen TDIU from 2012 But when I filed my claim in Sept 2014 Nothing changed physically. Its just my exam was in Jan2015. I think my claim should be effective the day I filed it but the VA See's that diffferently. Was there an error. I just thankful I finally received the award, but the difference is 6 grand. Just so thoughts

tdiu Tdiu Bennifits Chapt 35/ Champva Questions
OK I was just granted TDIU thank God!! And now I need to navigate the web of benys that opened up for me. I have 3 kids under 18 and I have a feeling with my new income I will have to insure them for medical. Currently they are on Paramount advantage thru the state. So what is champva Will it insure them will I have to pay a monthly premium? Any links or advice will be appreciated. I filled out the PDF application but it says they could take 8 months how will I insure my kids until then. I take it chp 35 is for educational bennifits but just unclear. Thanks again guys and gals,, you all took the edge off and really helped me get through this mentally. Semper Fi Bruce
