Increase
The VA has granted me an increase from 30% to 70% recently. Early February of this year is when DAV put the claim in for me and it was a quick process. As of the 1st of April I have only received April’s compensation and not February or March. Is there anything I should do?

Is it to late to claim P&T for my PTSD w/Depression & TBI?
Hello Everyone. In Dec 2016 I was increased to 70% for my post traumatic stress disorder with major depressive disorder with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and it placed me at 100% disability status. I was told by a friend at that time to not file for P&T but to give it some time. However, another friend of mine just recently told me that I should have already requested P&T. Its been almost 4 years and I am staring to get requests for C&P exams for other areas. So, my question is did I miss the window for asking for this to be permanent? I have a schedule A letter supporting this condition from 2017. I'm concerned and don't know what to do. Should I even re…

ptsd Stessor Verification Without Jsrrc?
This is my first post in hadit, but I've been reading for nearly a year, thank you for your wisdom! I've faced a lot of criticism for having a non combat ptsd claim on a different site, so I'll briefly qualify my circumstances in order to get help. I was stationed in Germany, 1990-1992. During a field exercise, at night, while in uniform, there was a large explosion near my AO at the training area, it was a German civilian transport truck and a small passenger car that had wrecked and caught fire on the nearby autobahn. I along with several other soldiers rushed to the scene and rescued the driver of the truck, and tried unsuccessfully to pull out his passenger be…

Re-Exam - PTSD & Migraines Decision
I'm confused on how they talk about how there is an improvement somewhere. Within the last 2 years, I had attempted suicide, and was placed on High-Risk, but have since came off of that assessment, with regular monthly scheduled visits with my LCSW. (I don't know how they come to the conclusion of whether or not someone is a persistent danger to myself or others) - Sure feels that way to me. In addition to that, I had lost my job, ( I was on the brink of being terminated and opted to leave before they could. ) The attempt came within months afterward. When they say "persistent delusions or hallucination" are they looking for someone who is always "stuc…

Supplemental Claim for PTSD
Hello All, It was 2009 I separated from military service and being my VA adventure. I filled a claim for PTSD within a year of my EASO. I was denied, i never filled an NOD and the denied claim became final. Fast forward to last year I go in touch with a VSO and filled a supplement claim with new material and evidence. The VA awarded me 70% but only back pay to the date of the supplemental claim which was OCT 2019 the original date of claim is MAY 2011, I appealed to HLR for an earlier effective date. My question is will the HLR give me the earlier effective date?

PTSD/TBI decision letter
Well this is not what I was expecting at all. My outside IME/Nexus/DBQ all stated I should be 70% ptsd and 40% TBI. VA rated me higher on both. After 2 ptsd (for an increase) and 3 TBI C&P's for initial claim, I am more than happy with their decision. I did get 10% for migraines also. Even though I fit the 30% criteria (have more than 2 per month). And I specifically told the C&P examiner this. He stated less than 2 episodes per month. Oh well. Sorry about the 3 different files. My scanner app just does it this way. Unless I pay for the pro version. And I don't pay. tbi_ptsd redacted0018.pdf tbi_ptsd redacted0019.pdf tbi_ptsd redacted0020.pdf
