LEGACY NOD QUESTION
Good Morning. I just filed my NOD about a week ago. Mailed it to the intake center and received notification and signed receipt by the intake center for it. My question is roughly how long does it take to show up on the website as received and in process?

No sign of claim after 3 weeks
Hello all, hope your day is well. I sent my documents to DAV on May 15th to be submitted as a supplemental claim with new and relevant evidence. I periodically check Ebenefits and VA.gov for any status of it and nothing has shown up so far. I also haven't received anything via snail mail by VA. I'm just wondering if this is normal and just wait it out? Thanks everyone.

Federal Courts just ruled class action suit can continue against VA
I think this is huge news and could really force the VA to actually start doing their jobs. https://www.militarytimes.com/news/pentagon-congress/2019/06/17/court-allows-a-class-action-lawsuit-against-va-for-the-first-time/?fbclid=IwAR1HsZ8l8bnrI03WUb0uESmLH7BRAuRU0s1eawehDaabl8y0ufBeTjghQrQ#.XQgJRO27m0Q.facebook

Time to complete...
Evening, I'm sure a question like this or similar has been asked but hard to find exact parallels. I will be brief but hopefully detailed enough in order to receive some help ! I filed a claim in 2015 for my back which got denied and I filled NOD and so the process starts, During that time I was placed on SSDI. In April 2019 I received a decision to the NOD which I totally forgot about, but in a nut shell I was granted increased ratings for my back, sciatic pain. The judge granted me IU permanent (100%?), at the house bound rate and backdated that to November of 2014. According to the VA.gov site it takes or they said it should take 1-2 months for the processing. …

Amend Active Appeal?
While in-service, I was seen for loss of sphincter control. I was later diagnosed with Crohns and was awarded service-connection for Crohns, but not the loss of sphincter control. This led me to file it as secondary to Crohns which is what the doctor told me was causing it. Totally understandable and straightforward. This was submitted in 2013 and is under appeal. Now, in 2019, a new doctor said I do not have Crohns and no doctor can identify what is causing the loss of sphincter control hence their inability to treat it. I will have surgery for it. Can my active appeal be amended (it is on the docket) and make the loss of sphincter control a primary condition rather…

VES C&P Sleep Apnea
So I have got to share this story as this is the first time this has happened to me. So my claim for Sleep apnea has been going back and forth now for 4 months. They already awarded the headaches a month ago. Today I received a call to set up an appointment which I would not need to attend maybe a phone call and a sleep study. I said a sleep study? I said I have already been diagnosed with sleep apnea. He said oh we have no record of that, could you send it over? So I have now sent it over to them to avoid the sleep study. Anyway it boggles my mind they have waited this long and now wanted to do a sleep study to see if I had sleep apnea which I already submitted.…

Appealing start date
I think I'm about ready to work on my 23 year back pay. They tell me they have everything for a decision for my sleep apnea/TDIU claim except for my SSDI medical evidence. I'll do that tomorrow. They told me it'll be 2-6 weeks. As I submit for my C file, I'm wondering if there's an advantage of submitting a CUE saying the C&P examiner reported that my bipolar started during active duty and I submitted a bipolar claim 23 years ago (which awarded me a 70% rating), please pay me my back pay. I mean, if there's a 5% chance it will work it is worth it, isn't it? Am I missing something?

BVA granted service connection in July of 2018 have heard nothing
BVA granted an increase and new connection and one remand. Have heard nothing about the granted stuff and no increase of one injury changed in ebenefits or anywhere. I did opt into RAMP in January and have a c&p in March on remand. The granted stuff is all marked closed everywhere I look and seems to be forgotten. It’s been 7 months since grant and I’ve heard not a word about it. Anybody have input? Not my first appeal win but this feels wrong.

Hand DBQ with Flexion Limits
I am looking for advice on those who may know about hand/finger flexion. I am currently rated at 10% for my thumb from arthritis. I believe that the VA did not look at the DBQ that was done by LHI for my C&P. It clearly shows that my right hand flexion is very limited for all five fingers. I am thinking it should be at least 20% or possible 30% for my right hand (it is my dominant hand). I have been searching and have not found a clear answer as to whether or not the limited flexion should be a factor in my rating. Am I wrong or did the VA just miss this completely? I am attaching a copy of the DBQ and relevant pages of my rating. If anyone has a reference …

Any recent processing times for VARO after BVA Appeal Grants?
My father just had the BVA grant his appeal for A&A SMC. My father has had a long ongoing battle with the VA since 2006. He finally was granted %100 TDIU in 2016 Jan. (Almost 10 years later). After, Lawyers requested that we pursue A&A SMC. The A&A was initially denied back then (sometime in 2016), and we appealed it. Finally, on October 16, 2018, it shows "Granted, increased rating, special monthly compensation." We received the decision in the mail from the BVA, but no other information was given. Our lawyers aren't giving us any further info on what to expect next. He's currently 78. From researching, I've heard it goes back to VARO for a decision letter or…

Smh I am about to let my claim go the appeal management route. I apply for smc s an a&a. It has been 2 yrs 3 decisions. An not one was bases on the issue I am claim.
