SSDI review doctors
I am currently in the Continuing Disability Review Process. Already was told "You can go back to work" even though the VA says "Um No you can't.". Dr. Bash wrote up a IMO on this review writing there is noway I can go back to work. Keep in mind the SSDI was originally approved because of Dr. Bash's VA IMO report because after his IMO was written I was finally given an EMG which gave his IMO 110% accuracy. So Dr. Bash just recently wrote me an IMO again on this SSDI CDR crap I am going through. But it appears the State of Florida's disability is sending me to some Occupational Specialists for an Exam. I just read online that if the Doctor the state sends you to is not a sp…

ptsd SSDI Exams, what to expect?
I have a SSDI exam for my PTSD coming up in two weeks and another for "everything else", I guess, a few weeks later. What can I expect, compared to the VA and/or VA Contractors? I am VERY worried about the PTSD claim, more so then I was with the VA, because of ME, not them. If I feel insulted, slighted or, even worse, they somehow question my integrity, etc. I could possibly turn violent, and I don't mean some 'dramatic' effect. It is what keeps me at home and in my upstairs bonus room almost all the time. I am a bit frightened that I may be provoked and then I will suffer for it by paying the consequences. I almost wish I had not applied at all, when I think of goin…

First CDR and very worried!!
Hello, I have been on SSDI for the last 3.5 years and got the long form in the mail last night. Obviously, I am very concerned that my SSDI benefits may be stopped. A bit about me. I am a veteran with a 50% rating for issues that are not mental health related but I do have open appeals for depression and anxiety with the VA that have been remanded from the BVA to my local office about 2 weeks ago after being on appeal since 2009. I was awarded a 10% increase in this remand for a physical issue and received back pay for it. The other mental health issues( depression and anxiety) are still on remandI was awarded SSDI for a combination of mental health and physical disabil…

accepted first try
I have heard and read the horror stories of being denied over and over again...having to get an attorney and still getting turned away. I was accepted the first shot! IN fact, my records states that I am NOT to be called in for any IME's in the future, that my acceptance is permenant. They have, indeed, left me alone and just pay me every month and put me on Medicare also. I was only 57 when this happened. Any advice that you may want, just ask. Gary

ptsd SSDI reveiw
I'm 70% TDIU P&T with no further reviews. I was granted SSDI before I was granted TDIU P&T. Now my question is; I have a review for my SSDI.. How does this work? Do I tell them I'm now 100% Permanent & Total (PTSD) and that I cannot not work period? Now I'm back in the stage once again where I'm freaking out that I can lose my SSDI which would be devastating! Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks all!

SSDI filling out online
So I finished filling out the SSDI stuff online, from the SS website tonight. I started the online process a few weeks ago. I have a letter from about a week or so ago from the SS administration, telling me to go back online and complete the following information: Disability Report Form 3368 Medical Release Form 827 I went back online and finished it, and "signed" a medical release area from the website. After looking up the Medical Release 827 form on the internet, I certainly didn't see anything that resembled that form while finishing up my application online. So I guess my question is, am I ok? Maybe this is a NEW thi…

tdiu SSDI is my money, Not HAPPY, Suprised?
OK hold on to your hat quick review. Haven't worked since DEC 2012. Filed SSDI claim JAN2013 Was awarded TDIU Jan2015. I'm 80% combined rated at 100% Scheduler. Went in front of ALJ June 2015. The fat A$$ judge called me obese, a liar and denied my claim. Appealed on several issues the best one was new material evidence. I was able to get a Residual function test done by OT. And after reading the mission statement I was able to get my PCP to fill out a 6 page questionnaire done by Binder and Binder (NOT happy with them btw) Any how my DOC was thorough and definite as to my disability and inability to work any job. So that's where I am at today. They owe me around 70K bu…

degenerative arthritis Where Am I?
I am unfamiliar with SSDI. I have an attorney, so I am not drawn into the bureaucracy like with the VA. They submitted my claim and put together the required documents, including my 2k page service records. I am currently 44. I just did a few questionnaires sent to me directly from SS. They almost seemed like they were in lieu of an exam. Is this possible? I have not seen any SS Doctor's or received any requests to do so. I am a 100% scheduler, but too young for P&T, I guess. What can I expect next? Here is a list of my rated disabilities (many are lowballed, a few are completely missing, awaiting C-File): 70% post-traumatic str…

Weird situation with Favorable Decision
I had my hearing for SSDI in November. All paperwork from the SSA had my date last insured listed as 12/31/14. At the hearing, I agreed to amend my onset date to 1/29/14. This past week, the payment processing center in Baltimore forwarded my case to the Appeals Council as a bureau protest. The payment processing center came to discover that my date last insured was actually 12/31/13. I spoke with someone from the Appeals Council and was told that my case was marked as critical and had been assigned to an analyst already. Does anyone have an idea of what is going to happen from this point on?

Fairly quick
This is a continuation from the post here: http://community.hadit.com/topic/61568-ssdi-denied-says-i-can-be-a-cashier/ Well, long story short, I got my approval.... or so I think. I received a letter from the SSA asking if I wanted to include my wife and children in my claim. Of course I would! As soon as I opened it, I called up Allsup (my ssdi attorney) and asked them what it meant. I was told that this is something they mostly ask for when approved. But I was told that it doesn't mean I was approved until I get my letter stating so. Great.... So I log in to my SSA account online and see a payment posted. I check my account and low and behold, there it is! Bac…
