Depresion Drug 1 2

I started my prescribed drug for depression and found myself in a 'cloud' and not feeling right. Felt totally tired and wanted to sleep all the time. This was the minimum dose and the Doc wanted me to progress to higher doses. I stopped taking it and will contact the Doc for more guidance. I am still working and cannot walk around, drive and operate machinery in a fog! Anyone else have this issue?

Hi everyone, I am 29 and have had a few surgeries I am on Vacation in a different state until aug 15th. I gave the va my tempory address. I had my Valium delivered overnight because it was due on the 20th. My oxycodone is due Saturday the 28th and when I talked with the pharmacy today they said it was being shopped today but I wouldn't get till Monday as they don't deliver on Saturdays. I was told though that all narcotics have to be overnighted. I was wondering if anyone here knows if they do indeed deliver Saturday because when I was home in LA I had had it delivered on a Saturday once. Is it because it would cost to much to do it that way to another state. My meds ru…

I been dealing with hyperhidrosis ever since the military. I just want to know if lorazepam can help with the sweating, puddles of sweat, when I try to go to the store with my wife and son. I've never addressed this with the VA because of how long it takes to get seen, and the 3 responses I get when I am seen. 1. Lose some weight 2. You have severe anxiety 3. got to see a dermatologist, weeks waiting, then canceled, I give up

Has anyone heard of EPAT therapy for plantar fasciitis? I assume that is too advanced for the VA health care system, but who knows? I have had soft tissue foot pain for years. This EPAT therapy is a non-invasive treatment. I just wonder if anyone has had it done or heard much about it. I understand insurance does not pay for it. I took chances on "new" foot pain treatments before with awful results. I am going to look before I leap. My foot pain has really taken a toll on my quality of life. I would be willing to pay for it if it worked. I read that it can cost between $300-500 bucks per foot. That would be cheap to me to relieve my painful feet. Most exercise I…

Been working on why my joints (knees hips neck shoulder region low back) have a dull burning ache. Went to dr today and was prescribed gabapentim. Now everything I am reading on this doesn't look good with citalopram and hydroxyzine or any anxiety/mood. Has anybody had any side effects with gabapentim and mood?

Has anyone had a problem with Trazodone only working for a week or so, then having to increase the dosage to get it to work? After a couple weeks I start reverting back to my anti-slumber ways, and it is so disappointing. I finally get some relief for my wakefulness, late-night house prowling and nightmares, then it slowly goes back to the mental and physical torture of no quality of sleep. If you have had this problem, how did you deal with it?

I've been told that the new policy at the San Antonio VAMC and surrounding clinics is that no benzos will be prescribed any longer. I have panic disorder with agoraphobia, PTSD, MDD, and the anxiety is literally painful at times. I am in therapy when I can get an appointment, and I've been told that CBT will "ease" my anxiety. In the interim, I should listen to music when I have a panic attack. ????? I'd love to hear back from other vets to see if this is the case in regions around the country. Peace.

I would rather suffer with back pain than take these f-ing pills. They make me so suck and barely help. And they wonder why I'm so depressed. I can't get relief without resorting to MJ, what do I do?

Along with morphine (120 mg daily), take Oxycodone since 2007. last year VA Dr. reduced 30mg/325 a day to 20mg daily. Now due to VA POLICY, weaning me TOTALLY OFF the pain med, and will increase the long acting Morphine SO4. Told my Dr. that percocet is VERY EFFECTIVE for pain relief, even compared to morphine. Not targeting me personally, but result of nation wide VA plan to eliminate the opiate pain killer. NOT a good idea in my view....a blanket pain management policy where according to research, long acting pain meds are more effective according to my primary care. Scared about this to say the least. subvet 90% SC/SSDI
