I have been a VA patient for years and am 100% sc for PTSD. After a three year investigation of VA treatment of me by the press, the press printed two back to back stories two years ago detailing deception, intimidation, and malfeasance. The VA Roseburg immediately terminated all mental health care. The VA then terminated all PCP care. I have demanded via paperwork to see a patient advocate for two years with no response. The government opened self scheduling up so I scheduled myself. Days later in my record appears a Choice Program referral for 180 days, but VA Roseburg refuses s to assign an PCP, mental health provider, or PACT team at all which makes a Choice referral…

I have been 100% P&T since last year. As soon my rating was increased the VA clinic I go to was unable to give me appointments or treatment. I never have had this problem this bad in over 20 years going to VA to be seen on a regular basis. I have service connected injuries of 12 different injuries. My VA doctor tells me there is nothing he can do to help me. My nurse doesn't want to answer my secure messages any more. I am 4 months away from the 20 year rule on half of my service connected injuries. Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions, advice would be appreciated. Thanks and God Bless all of you veterans!

I hope this is the right forum. Due to a lot of research and positive results from physical therapt begun to believe that a significant amount of my pain is caused by an undiagnosed and possibly curable issue. But my primary care doctor refuses to make the referral that could confirm or rule out this possibility. I can not afford outside care at this time. Is there anything I can do to push the issue and get my suspicions checked. The issue is complicated by the fact that in the past, various specialists have found nothing, probably because I was telling them to look in the wrong place. SHORT VERSION. For the last 23 years I have had knee pain and instability tha…

Situation is I just got 50% + 10%. I understand that puts me in priority group one. Further, I understand VA treatment and med co-pays are waived. 1. Do I understand correctly? 2. Will they refund everything back to my grant date- ITF late 2015? Furthermore, can I get the cost for IMO/IME refunded, that I used to get the award? Thanks!

If the VAMC provides medical equipment to treat SC conditions, are they supposed to provide batteries periodically or is the veteran stuck paying for that? Examples: hearing aids, TENS units, etc...

I have been trying to get my VA records since 2/17, i went in to the records office filled out the paperwork and not too long after i was sent a CD in the mail with imaging ie; x rays etc; but not the text or notes based records. I went back in and filled out a new request and nothing ever came in the mail. I have called into the records supervisor and left VMs. I spoke to patient advocate and the directors office which is apparently above patient advocate. To this date i still do not have my records and i have made at least 25 calls. At this point i wish i could sue the VA for how they are treating me. I dont want to get into my personal issues but this is quite …

Looking for advice on what type of Specialist I should see at the VA for wrist issues. Currently service connected for my knees and ankle. I reported wrist pain(cracking and popping), numbness, and tingling on my active duty exit physical but did not pursue treatment for it at the VA until now (5 years post separation). Primary care physician gave me a consult to physical therapy and ordered no xrays. Physical therapy had me perform a series of exercises which revealed I had half the grip strength of an average man in his 30s. Physical Therapist observed that I was unable to hold a pen nor write After those grip exercises. They suggested that I obtain a nerve cond…

if you are being lied to, denied care, mistreated, misled, delayed care, denied medications , ect at VA facilities, report it and there will likely be consequences for the offender if you can get it high enough up the food chain. The new law is now in place, and no Doctor, lawyer or Indian Chief is safe from diciplinary actions anymore. ALWAYS know who you speak with in person or on the phones if they will say, because documentation is always king!!! Documentation is evidences sword... https://www.va.gov/accountability/Adverse_Actions_Report.pdf
