  1. I am 100% but not P and T. I have a five year review of my 100%.
  2. Read the DBQ they basically said migraines aren't associated with Gulf War Syndrome. What is your next step?
  3. The Social Security Administration has made 2 appointments for me in January. One for my PTSD and one for back problems. I have heard it is a sign that they are trying to deny you if they send you to a private doctor, which they are doing in my case. any input appreciated.
  4. If you are a day trader with significant amount of money in stocks I wonder if they would view that as work?
  5. No. I am 100% not P and T and have a base id.
  6. It keeps saying zip code not found. I'm assuming it needs the zip code for the local VAMC hospital or the local VARO. I'll keep trying.
  7. It needs. Your zip code. If your ok with giving it out.
  8. Plan on spending some time if you go on base to get your DOD ID. You may have to get a base pass and active duty have priority at the base pass office. It took me about 2 hours.
  9. Is it possible the C and P examiner was intentionally baiting you to see how you'd react? Just trying to spin this in a positive way.
  10. I think the examiners repport is 70-90% of the decision. So a lot rides on the C and P exam. Jmo
  11. I think you can apply for short term disability and SSDI at the same time.
  12. Just wait till the C and P results come in. When we're wound up from a C and P exam we aren't thinking clearly.
  13. Field Examiner just left. They are going to do supervised direct pay which means I get the money in my account and the VA follows up to make sure I'm spending it wisely. No Fiduciary!
  14. Field Visit in 45 minutes. As ready as I can be.
  15. Well at least you can prove you responded. I don't know how much of a difference it will make, more senior members will have to respond to that.
  16. Absolutely. Even though I had a NSO representing me I personally delivered everything to the RO. My RO reps were helpful and I think it helps them get a personal connection with you at the VARO. Maybe I was just lucky but my dad had the same experience when he went for an AO claim. He ran into his Veteran Service Rep at the Commissary. If they see you in person it's a lot more easy to find a way to help (unless you can't control your anger).
  17. Most C and P's have some incorrect info. I don't think they'll come after you for minor errors.
