Well my outside do prescribed LYRICA. I went to the local pharmacy to get it filled out of pocket if it was cheap... 500.00 for 30 pills. NO DICE. SO I dropped the rx off at my primisery care physicians office.. got a call today, and was told that the medication is not on the pharmalery list and they cant prescrbe. this medication is also called pregablin.. A member on this forum recently told me that he has and is getting prescriptions for this medication from the VA.. Does anyone know anything abt this "pharmalery" list? Certainly they arent blowing smoke up my ass to save money? we shall see.

I just wanted to mention that is suppose to help with intense chronic Back Pain. Some of you may already know bout this but for the ones that don't. We have a good friend that has MS has had it for 30 years and it's progressed where its in its last stages and she is in a lot of chronic pain everyday/night and has tried everything for her pain Medtronic's has a device Called Spinal Cord Stimulator & is surgically implanted close to each side of the spine , you have a remote and when the pain is getting bad you turn up the numbers on the remote and it sends a electrical shock to the nerves. (This is not a Tens Unit) ....our friend gets hers tomorrow. Note …

I got off a phone appt. with my PCP about an hour ago. I told her sometime back that I was spending all my time laying around in my bedclothes, weaker and fatter as it progressed and I had blood taken twice a few weeks apart. The labs showed low testosterone and apparently I will soon be starting a regimen of an injection every 2 weeks. Any info will be appreciated. I have read a few things online but really don't know what to expect. I'm hoping to regain a little motivation to shower and put clothes on every day, not spend most of every day in bed, maybe tackle a few simple things I hoped I'd get around to when I retired 2 years ago. 100% P&T 70% PTSD! depress…

I take 3600mg of Gabpentin a day. Its been a struggle to get my VA PCP to at least switch me to TRY Lyrica. I've been seeing a Private MD, Pain Management MD and now a Neurologist. They ALL told me they felt Lyrica would be better for me since I am on such high dosages of Gabapentin. People with permanent nerve damage does Gabapentin or Lyrica help you better? I am thinking of getting away from the VA totally because of this and I believe because other veterans were being overdosed with pain medications those of use who have permanent nerve damage are being PUNISHED because the VA will not give us any breakthrough medication to go along with our pain medications. …

Has anybody experience UPS losing their pain medications and not delivering them? What do I do about this if I don't receive them by next Tuesday? Luckily I did go to my local ER to obtain a temporary prescription for 3 days but what do I do afterwards? I called the Pharmacy today and they said to wait and see because UPS has until 8pm tonight to deliver them. What the VA Pharmacy don't realize is for the past 3 years UPS has delivered them on or before 12 noon. Anyway do I call Pharmacy back tomorrow to REFILL them or how do I go about this because I do not want to go through the withdraw symptoms.
