3. ptsd Ptsd Claim Vet 70

   I either have a brain freeze or just need to know for sure. I am helping a Veteran who served 2 tours in Nam a Marine who is filing for PTSD and Agent Orange Prostate Cancer. Like many with PTSD he has a pretty sketchy work History. Should he file for TDIU now or wait for an answer from VARO. I think he should file for TDIU but I am not sure.

4. ptsd Quetiapine 100Mg Feedback?

   Has anyone been given Quetiapine 100 MG tab for PTSD? My doc has given me 3 types of sleeping pills and none has helped. Today he "upgraded" to this medicine and told me to be careful since I am going to be pretty sedated from it? I also take another pill for anxiety as well called citalophram....The upgrade in medication was because today was my appt with the PTSD doctor and I told him about stuff this month and how it has been rough...due to the 9/11 tv coverage etc.....so he said my symptoms are worst 9/11 adniversary hit me pretty hard since Im from NYC, loss a HS friend in the collapse, lost a few friends in the war (a HS buddy shot in the neck in Iraq for exampl…

5. ptsd Need Some Input Please

   I just was advised for the second time to stop treatment. 1st was in CPT and now the shrink ha advised me to stop the med treatment because I am unwilling to increase my dose of Pravasin. I was at 3 mil and she said it had to go much higher to take effect. I am unwilling to do this. I guess my demeanor had shaken her as she referenced my lack of eye contact and folded arms as hate towards her and the treatment. I got a letter today stating I have completed the program. 6. ptsd Old Or New Ptsd Rule

   I do know that when I did my first C&P for PTSD, I was under the old rule. But, last Oct 2010, the VA decided that I needed to be retested, so would I be under the new rule for PTSD? I'm still waiting a ruling for the second C&P. I personally do not believe that the VA is interested in non-combat PTSD, only combat PTSD. Unfortunately, I have both. Papa

   A little back ground. After Desert Storm, I spent the first decade denying something was wrong and steadly getting worse. Finally I went to see a private shrink, told him how I was feeling and he said I had sever Social Anxiety Disorder. (Didn't mention anything about my combat experiance, still didn't want to believe that could be it I guess.)    Hello, the va told me to see a phycatrist. I made a appointment but only seen a mentel heath counsler? Does what the MHC say on paper have any wieght on claims? or does it have to be from a phycatrist?. Thanks

   My original diagnosis of PTSD was in July 2010 with a score of 60/85 on the PCL and my original GAF score was 45. Since I got out of the military in 4/2010 I have been unable to obtain unemployment due to the severity of my symptoms and they have since, gotten worse. 10. ptsd Ptsd Re-Evaluation

    I was just wondering, and I do that a lot, about what the VA did. I was rated at 30% for PTSD for about a year, when I get this notice that the VA wanted to do another C&P on me. This was last Sep-Oct 2010. Have not heard a word from them, and I know that they do this not to increase ones ratings, but to decrease it. But, I figured that if they were going to decrease it, they would have done so by now. The new GAF was 50, but I thought it was to high based upon the report the doctor wrote.     I was woundering what my husband would get with just the PTSD claim for the VA I am going to attatch the copies for you to review of course without the personal info on it.
